Download in browser keeps spiking then dropping

 · CBR x downscaled to p @ 30 fps. (have tried variable bitrates from ) What's happening is when I start to stream, the stream connects, then automatically (about 5 seconds after start) I spike at around kb/s, then drop down to around , then it jumps from around to 0kb/s. Dropping around 75% of frames. for the past 2 weeks my steam download speed keeps jumping up and down. i have mb internet speed usually i will download steam games at mb but for the past 2 weeks the max i can get is 5mb and its for 10 seconds then it will drop down to kb and after a minute it will go back to 5mb and drop again. its not a problem on my end i think because i tested it with downloading through google.  · Posted September 1, Hey.. It'll download REALLY fast at MB/s then drop to zero indefinitely. Already tried refreshing Steam files. The easy way to get rid of this problem, is to switch servers where you download from, as Radix said earlier, Japan server usually works. Google Chrome won't download files.. the download starts of normally.. it downloads a few megabytes and then just drops to 0 B/s.. i ended up downloading the file though my smartphone over Wifi soI don't think the new router is the problem or maybe it could be a wired-only issue.
